Guernsey is the second largest of the Channel Islands and part of
The Bailiwick of Guernsey.
This consists of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou and Lihou.
Guernsey is 9 x 3 miles with a total area of 25 square miles.
Guernsey is 80 miles from the South coast of England, and 30 miles
from the coast of France.

The population of Guernsey is 65,228. Guernsey issues it's own notes and coins, but British currency is also accepted.
The Island is split into 10 Parishes -
St Peter Port being the Capital, then St Sampsons, Vale, St Andrews, St Martins, Castel (where we live), Forest, St Saviors, St Peters and Torteval. English is our language, but some of the older generation do still speak Guernsey-French.

With Guernseys' stunning scenery it's the perfect destination.
With inspiring walks along the cliff paths taking in the scenery, and lazy days on the beautiful beaches on our island, Guernsey has it all!
St Peter Port, the islands' capital, is a busy harbour town, and where most builings tell a story from years gone by.
Fresh local seafood is very popular with visitors and locals alike.
While in the harbour ferries are there to take you to the sister islands
Sark and Herm.

Guernsey is a very special place, with a thriving community that welcomes its' visitors, and leaves a lasting impression on all who set foot on her soil.
